For this project, I was tasked with animating the process of installing a diaphragm wall. In this process, a crane takes a bite out of soil with a clamshell. Next, a hydromill excavates through the soil and embeds itself into a rock layer. A rebar cage is then placed in the section, and concrete is poured in. Finally, adjacent panels are installed and the result is a continuous, watertight wall.
